Living In Eagle
Eagle is a picturesque city to the northwest of Boise between the Boise Mountains and the river. The city is well-known for its affluent neighborhoods, spacious horse properties, luxurious spas, and beautiful natural landscapes. The Greenbelt, a tree-lined pathway, runs right through the middle of town and along the Boise River. When it comes to personality, recreation, and charm, Eagle’s biggest draw is its historic downtown which features vintage-style street lights along the main drag. The abundance of unique local eateries, boutiques, and antique shops make it a popular gathering spot for residents. The older section of Eagle is where you’ll find the city’s gorgeous tree-lined streets, wide lots, and majestic homes and parks perfect for raising a family. Even with its recent expansive growth, Eagle has maintained its small town feel and values everyone loves about this beautiful city.
The real estate in Eagle tends to sell for higher prices than similar homes in Boise. It’s not hard to find multi-million dollar luxury homes in elaborately designed neighborhoods such as Legacy (with 39% of its land dedicated to open space) and Two Rivers and Banbury just to scratch the surface. Many residents of Eagle enjoy lavish living and exquisite properties, but there are still some more affordable homes here as well.
Locals never miss Eagle Fun Days – a community celebration that includes a wet & wild parade, live music, food vendors (including the famous Rocky Mountain Oyster feed – google it, these are not seafood!), and a family carnival. Avid golfers can enjoy Eagle’s three premier golf courses – Banbury Golf Club, Eagle Hills Golf Course, and the Club at Spurwing. Spend the day at Eagle Island State Park found right in the middle of Eagle, complete with a swimming beach, picnic area, water slide, and more than 5 miles of equestrian trails. Check out the seasonal farmers market with live music or plan an elegant date night at Coa del Mar where you’ll find the freshest seafood in the Treasure Valley.
